Mileage and Parking for Medical Appointments

If you are enrolled in a Medical FSA plan you may be able to be reimbursed for parking and mileage expenses incurred while receiving medical care.

Mileage Reimbursement: To claim mileage, you will need to submit a claim online (or use a claim form), provide documentation that you were at an eligible provider on that date, and provide documentation of the round trip mileage. 

Mileage Rate: Mileage rate for January 1-June 30 2022 is $0.18/mile

Mileage rate effective July 1st 2022 is $0.22/mile

Parking Reimbursement: To claim parking expense for a medical service, submit a manual claim through your online account (or use the claim form), provide documentation from your provider reflecting an eligible service on that date, and provide a copy of the corresponding parking receipt.
